Question about Belling XOU174 Electric Single Oven
I am wiring an electric cooker to the wall we have three colors just want to make sure we put the right color in the right hole in the wall..... The unit on the wall has three symbols E L & N, and then on the cable from the cooker we have three colors yellew/green , brown and blue... Can you help please Thanks and best regards
Trying to wire up an electric oven. Good with electrics, normally. Sounds stupid bus there are no holes to place the wires into on the oven panel. In other words not like the speces on a plug or on the main live circut on the wall. Where do I put the wires????

Yellow/Green is Earth so 'E'. Brown is live so 'L', and Blue is neutral so 'N'.

BLUNTLY but with all due respect if you dont know this you should not be doing it. You will kill yourself or someone else some day!! This is why the law ( ref.competent person ) requires you to use an electrician. You have just shown why you are not competent.
