Question about Biostar M7VKG Motherboard
I've bought the above board yesterday, and when i hooked everything up, the two little leds aren't lighting. in the manual i got with the board it says when both leds are off it means it's a chipset problem, or a cpu problem. I'm using the AMD Athlon 64 X2 dual-core processor, a gig of ram and club3d nvidia geforce 9600gt overclocked edition. i tried removing the ram, graphics and all, i've tried reinserting the processor but nothing helps...do i have to get rid of the motherboard and get a new one? help!
Sounds like your motherboard isn't getting power...
I suggest you check that you have both the 24pin ATX connector (upper center) and the 4 pin P4 (upper right) connected. If your PSU does not have a 24pin but only 20pin connector I suggest you find a proper PSU and test with that.
It's very unlikely for a new motherboard and/or CPU to be not functioning.
Hope this helps!
