Depending on the squar footage of the area you are waxing, you can get an acceptable wax at Home Depot, or Sam's Club. But for the best results go to your local Janitorial supply store, and ask for a wax there. Waxes come in a variety, depending on the amount of traffice the floor will see, the type of spills that may come in contact with the floor, how often you are going to maintain the floor (ie: buff, clean, scrub and recoat). Most every wax sold today is self sealing, so it's really a matter of maintenance.

We use Marine Polish. Use a small drill buffer, polish until clear. Make sure you use polish and not wax.

How to wax a hardwood floor using a Electrolux floor cleaner and polisher

There are basically two models, but both are similar in waxing floors. I've just uploaded the manuals for each.
The instructions for the Floor Pro can be found on page 12 of the manual. The B-8, or 2101, is the same.
Basically:
Clean the floor.
Prepare a spray bottle of wax solution.
Spray an area in front of you, and back away while "swinging" the shampooer from side to side. Repeat.until finished.

How to use random orbital waxer/polisher from turtle wax model 65003tw

I am a professional detailer with 15 years experience. Place a small mount of polish or wax on the bonet of your machine and sork it into the paint until it hazes over. You can then either use a microfiber towel to hand buff the residue off or you can change to a clean bonet to buff off with the machine. You do not need a lot of pressure with the polisher, let the weight of the machine do the work.

Polishing a Motorcycle's chrome parts can be done with a polish. But what about the tank that has metal paint? With what should i polish that?

With todays advanced waxes and silicons it is easy to find a protective that does both. But if you would feel better a good wax such as Macguires ora siicon based polish would be fine.Remember the idea is to provide the covering with the regular maintenance regularly;that way you provide the care that any finish needs.

The screen on my Sega Game Gear is severely scratched. How do I remove the scratches?

You can use a fine, cleaner type of automotive wax. DO NOT, use rubbing or polishing compoumt. Those are too coarse. The very fine polishin cleaner wax like KIT will remove most light scratches.

If you have really heavy ones, then there are other ways to remove those.I won't say here right now. Try the wax first.Polish in small circles until you see the gloss come up.

Remember, you just can't wipe on/ wipe off. You need to cut the shine by polishing it. Perhaps several minutes.
Some might not know it, but you can't really remove a scratch. That's right.Think about it. When you 'take out' a scratch, you are actually LOWERING the surrounding area around the scratch. Making the surrounding area the same level as the scratch, your scratch seems to disappear.

Have a week old car, need to know what type of wax or polish to use on new paint from the factory?

Don't use ANY polish. If the car is only a week old, the paint is new. Wash it with COLD water only for the first 6 months. DON"T use a carwash. The pressure will ruin the finish. If you have clearcoat, most cars do, use an acrylic wax made for clearcoats.

Pegasus granite, black kitchen sink, rough on the bottam

As a plumber I have seen this problem many times.

A very simple solution!!!!!!!!!

Turtle Wax or any kind of granite counter polish. CorStone (sp?) used to send me a polish/wax that worked wonders but I havent delt with them in a long time so I dont know if it is still available.

Just use try Turtle Wax but make sure not to get Turtle Rubbing Compound as that has grit in it which will scratch the surface of your counter.

Hope this helps.

hi from uk i am going to pass on to you an old remedy that a body spray painter passed on to me when i had a silver cortina 1600E in my youngr days and it does work ! if you obtain a tin of liquid metal polish ie brasso or carr day and martins metal polish pour a generouse amount onto a soft cloth then do a panel at a time ie front wing ? rub polish in straight lines only over panel apply firm pressure and be careful not to miss anywhere ? doing this removes all old wax polish and enhances the silver shine then wash panel with warm soap water of metal polish then leather or dry off ? you will feel the difference in texture of paint surface this requires lots of patience to do it right over all the cars body work afterwards use only wash wax liquid and rinse each wash not wax polish this remedy works magic on red painted cars that have turned pink matt ? using this method removes all old wax polish which has created pink due to sunlight as you may have noticed on other cars i hope you try this remedy at least on one panel? then look forward to your update/opinion on this ? best wishes from n/west uk

Polishing the chrome

i use Auto Glym super resin wax, or luster lace. Do not use an abrasive polish as it will cloud and scratch the chrome. You can wax chrome with no ill effects whatsoever. Try some pledge on it, you'll be surprised at the results.
