You can try BOTH wrists, not that this should make a HUGE difference, usually it is the actual pressure itself. I would try to use to machine on someone else and make sure that your actual pressure(meaning the amount of blood, rate of flow) can be monitored with a wrist model. Some people are forced to use a arm style..... take care... Guy
Hello there: Normally if the blood pressure is too low you will have a error but this could be caused by the battery being low So what i would suggest is to first double check the battery by taking it out of the monitor and pressing in the power button and holding it for 10 seconds this will clear the machine now put the battery back in and power up the unit ** note when using the monitor always make sure that the arm is crossed against the heart and that the machine is on the wrist properly and is facing the right way then try this ok? Hope this is very helpful for you Best regards Michael
Wrist blood pressure monitors must be used with the arm above heart level. You can do the pledge of allegiance while doing a reading to make sure this is done. Usually this error occurs when inflation takes too long or the placement of cuff is wrong.
E might represents insufficient inflation for your mom. For automatic inflation monitors usually there is a mechanism to keep inflating the cuff to higher pressures for people with higher BP. Check how is done. In some auto monitors, while cuff is inflated you keep pressing on START button until pressure reaches to some 15 to 20 mmHg higher than the pressure that auto usually stops and displays E.
