You either need to work out WHY it's doing that, or tick the "do not show this window again" box.
You haven't given us enough information to be more helpful.

I have a toshiba satellite l305-s5919 laptop and everytime i try to connect to a wireless network it doesnt fully connect. it goes half way in the network sharing center and shows up as unidentified and...

Given what you have already done it certainly looks to be a windows problem.

There are a few things you can try.

The new connection wizard is one and may well help you to get connected.
if not try a wired connecton to rule out other possibilities (you may have to run the wizard again)

I had service guys update the service packs from microsoft onto my laptop and check forr viruses. After the session, I found that although the laptop works fine, an essential feature was gone- I can't hook...

Restore back your system at the time its not updated with service pack.
  • To access the System Restore Wizard, click Start, and then click Help and Support. Click Performance and Maintenance, click Using System Restore to undo changes, and then click Run the System Restore Wizard.
  • If you want to undo an earlier restoration, click Restore my computer to an earlier time in the Welcome to System Restore screen, and then select the relevant restore operation restore point listed in the System Restore Wizard.
Hope this restoration will put it back again your system at the time its works.

Good luck!

HP Photosmart C5280 - continually reinstalls the software.

I have exactly the same problem. Found a solution onthe Microsoft forums:

"Checkpoint: Unhide Hidden Devices in the Device Manager, view the problem
devices and remove them manually from there.

This workaround is for an HP Printer, use accordingly:

1. When the Found New Hardware Wizard starts at startup of the computer,
click <next>.

2. When it asks you for the HP disk, (the next thing that will require a
response from you probably), click <ok>. However, do NOT insert the disk
into your CD-ROM drive.

3. On the next screen that comes up, there will be a button that is already
highlighted telling the wizard where to find the printer driver (which is
what it is looking for). This button will be pointing it at "other media,

The trick is to DESELECT this button. At that point, the button for your C:
drive will become active and you can select the C: drive. It will also
probably be prompting you with the location for the already installed HP
printer driver that is somewhere on your C: drive. (If not, you need to
click browse and locate the driver).

4. After you have deselected the CDROM and selected the C: drive, click
<ok> (or <next>) The Wizard then makes a second copy of your printer driver
(and, by the way, creates a second "installed printer" in your Control
Panel/Printers). And then, the wizard finally completes and tells you that
you have successfully installed the new hardware.

5. On subsequent startup, the Wizard should then NOT run."

Good luck!

Laptop Cannot Connect To Internet

You shouldn't have to run the setup wizard. You should be able to plug it in and click on internet explorer and it will connect. This is built into the operating system. If it doesn't do this, then you will need the disc to run a system repair.

Where do i go from here

You can do both, but what I sugggest is try Toshiba recovery wizard first so you don't have to run into a lot of question during recovery process.
Toshiba recovery will give your computer first look as when you first bought it.

Connection Not Consistent

You shouldn't have to run the setup wizard to reconnect. It sounds like you just haven't configured it to auto-connect to that wireless connection. Right click on My Network Places and select Properties. Right click on your Wireless LAN connection, and tell it to connect. You should be able to go through those settings and tell it to auto-connect to your router as well.
