Static noise coming from headset. The headset has been making this noise for 3 or more days.

Most headphones (wireless) have a tuning wheel that allows you to find your headphone channel pair to base set. It sounds that while checking your foam ear piece you may have moved this dial / wheel. After locating (probably near volume) the control for tune, place headphones on and slowly move control for tuning. You should hear something move control to strongest signal.
your base also has settings switch for channel helpful if you have more then one pair in house, on different TV. Play with both to find best volume.

The headphones do not play any sound... As a matter of fact, if you are in a quiet room, you can ALMOST hear that something is playing, but no matter how loud you turn up the source, it is still so low...

cdobmusic,

I am not entirely familiar with these headphones, other than knowing that the sound quality is amazing. However, I do have a few suggestions for you. First of all, if these headphones have noise cancellation, you may need to check the batteries. It is possible that it needs batteries in place for the speakers to work at all. Secondly, double check your connection to your device and also check the sound levels on your device. I know, it sounds basic, but sometimes that's why we look it over. If neither of these work, call up Monster Cable. They stand behind everything they put their name on for life. Unless you've modified your headphones or gone swimming with them still on your head, they should replace them if there is truly a problem. good luck!

Buzzing noise coming throught my headset on my turtle beach x1 headphones

Check if the buzz stops when you remove the talkback cable. If so, then try a wireless controller if you're using a wired one. Also, don't use a play and charge kit because it causes a lot of buzz on the headset.

Sound sync problem with I touch.

it appears that your headphone jack may be defective.
or your headphones.

Try a different set of headphones first and if the problem persists, have the headphone jack replaced by an iPod Tech.

the only other thing that it could be is possible your ipod is too full. If you don;t leave some room on the memory for it to run freely it will start having some issues.

if this helps you please leave a vote in fixya

Turning off the speakers

When you plug into the headphone jack, it should automatically override the speakers. This will be either a driver issue or a device faliure (headphone jack) Start by updating the sound drivers from Dell's support site. Then update your media player. If these don't work then it's the jack.

MX-KA3 SAYS PROTECT

I need a little help on this one. Did it go into protect after the move or was it in protect mode before? If it went into protect after the move, did it get dropped or roughly handled? Sounds like something got knocked loose in the move. You should be able to open the unit up and check the connections. Reseat all connection whether they look loose or not. Sometimes it only takes a very small bump to get the connector acting up. After reseating all connectors, if it still does not work let us know.

Playing ITunes from my dell Inspiron 1300

I have a cable made of
- a 1/8" stereo plug (male) to stereo RCA (female)
- 6' stereo RCA cable (male/male)

Plug the 1/8" into the headphone jack of the laptop and the RCA end into the AUX on a stereo/amplifier...

That gives you one room anyway.
