This might be the problem due to overheating of your CPU. So clean the fan or change it...

Why my mouse and keyboard hangup when i attach my flash

It sounds like you could be low on memory or your processor is working super hard.

To fix this, first, check and see how much ram you have by right clicking on "My Computer", then click "Properties". Your processor speed and ram will be shown in the window. If you have less than 256 MB of RAM, or a processor less than 1.2 GHz, then you might need to upgrade your processor or RAM.

Hi my name ia rahul from india, mumbai my pc brnd new amd proccer,256mb ram, asus motherboard the problem is whic ever i install the softwae the system gets hangup

hi welcome to fixya! what particular system you are installing, is it XP sp1, XP sp2, or Vista? Configure first the CMOS before doing the the OS installation. Set everything to its default configuration before running the process. 256 MB of memory for Vista is not enough it is good only for XP sp1 or sp2. See to it that your HDD was properly connected and its not loosen. If still the problem persist, change the ATA HDD cable (it looks like a ribbon in color gray) into a brand new one, sometimes its one of the cause of hang-ups and change your CMOS battery also. If still you experience hang-ups feel free to ask a help from a service center near you. Good Day!

Hang-ups durring bios screen and hangs at certain times.

hallo, i'm Fernando Kendy from Jakarta, Indonesia

hope i can help with this problem

the mainboard has onboard graphic adapter (S3 bla bla bla)
try using it. unplug your nvidia FX5500

how is it? does it work?
if it still not working, then STOP here. something is wrong with your mainboard

if it is working, then goto BIOS configuration
change the PROCESSOR frequency to 100 MHz (MANUAL) and the RAM frequency to 400MHz
save the configuration, and shut it down immediatelly
plug the nvidia FX5500 back, and turn your pc on...

it should be working fine now
but if you still have problem, then i'm sorry... couldn't help you any further... :)

Hanging after booting

Hanging is just a minor problem of any pc. It just means that the system is hot. Just open up the system unit and make sure that the cpu, system and power pack fans are working. Also clean the system because of dust.

How to repair my system

Hi, the first thing to try is to make sure your craphics card has not worked loose. If this is still firmly in place then try a replacement card. When your system boots and hangs up it is usualy either RAM chips loose or failed and as you say the system boots ok then it will almost certainly be the craphics card at fault. Regards mistyman
