Hi everybody,
I have been working on this laptop for 3 or 4 days now and have tried
everything I can imagine to fix what I think is a power management
issue. I have an IBM thinkpad T30 and when the laptop is NOT plugged
into the wall using the AC adaptor, windows battery icon shows the
laptop as still being on AC power. It always shows it that way and
always says charging even though it can't possibly be doing so. I have
loaded both XP and 2000 on the machine and still no change. I have
downloaded every driver I can possibly think of from IBM's website and
have gotten no where. Please, if you have any ideas on what my fix
this, let me know. It would be most appreciated. Thanks.
