Good day;

Sounds like the TV has a short in the circuitry. Call an Authorized Service Center and have them come out and give you a written estimate B4 repairs are done.

Good Luck, big IRISH.

I'm back.my mitsubishi ws-48413 tv only has a blue screen when i turn it on. Ive tried several things. I tried turning on the receiver first and waiting 10 seconds and the opposite. I rebooted the tv...

There is a communication error between the source & the TV. When powering up the units, try turning on the receiver first, then turn the TV on, that way there is a signal for the TV to detect at initial start-up.

This is a tough one but there are several sites that sell parts and/or repair kits for these old TV's. You can google tv repair kits.com and they may have what you need.

TV wont turn on, makes buzzing noise and shuts off

I have two RCA HD52W59 TV's. I have had one for 3 years and one 4 years. The one I have had for 4 years is giving me the problem. Last week the tv turned off while watching it. It wouldnt come right back on. 10 minutes later we tried and it worked fine. the other night the kids were watching and it turned off and smelled like something burning. I tried turning it right back on and got no power at all. I tried to turn it on two days later and it made a buzzing noise and the green light went out. Never did get a picture, no powering up on the screen. Any ideas? Don't want to spend alot of money. Really loved the TV hope it isnt junk now. Better yet I hope the same thing doesnt happen to the other one I have.

Will not turn back on

Take off back cover. The problem power board is to the right of the board where the power plug feeds into the TV. There is a large white fuse right bend the power plug. With a meter it read ok; about 8 inches deeper into the TV on that board was the resister next to two fuses. My 4 amp 125 volt fuse did not read on my meter. After replacing, it worked fine.
