How do I operate my web cam?

You can disable the built-in WEBcam in the BIOS setting.

it's probably the driver
the driver might be not installed,if your operating system is windows xp,then you need to install the driver,but windows 7 usually doesn't need any driver,but still i recommend you to install the driver
if you don't know where you can find the driver,just tell me what series is your webcam is,and i'll find it for you ^^

go to Start->All Programs
and look for the web cam program,i don't know what's the program name exactly,it's different in each PC
normally,it's already installed on your operating system,but if you don't find it,then you need to install it manually

Here are the basic steps to ENABLE your webcam.

Click on Start...Control Panel...Hardware & Sound...Device Manager...Imaging Devices...Webcam...Enable it!

Your Yahoo/Messenger IM video capabilities will work with your webcam!

I'd suggest to upgrading your BIOS first, because this model had too many problems with BIOS..

maybe this will help its worth a try

go to Start
Run
type in MSCONFIG
go to the start up Tab and the services tab.
tick the camera program
then select apply
system will reboot
then windows will open saying you made changes to the startup menu
tick the bottom left where it say's don't show again
hopeefully you will now have your webcam in the start menu again

if not go to

www.toshiba.com

go to support/downloads
find your model and operating system
search for the webcam driver
download it
install it
then restart laptop

You need to install the driver that came with your webcam. If you don't have it, look at the manufacturer's website and download it.

If you have the installer with you,just insert the CD and load the content.
