Since you have mentioned that you first tap the tv set for it to work well, it has obviously loss connection/ cold solder... check for cold solder and reheat it, this will solve your problem...

Have you checked all of your cables to ensure all are connected properly and are tight? If you disconnect your 'system' (which I'm guessing is an audio system?), does the TV work correctly?

It is my professional opinion is to have a technician come out and diagnose it properly. I have repaired several of these models with an intermittent short in the picture tubes. You are correct questioning "How could they get out of alignment"...They DON'T. When the G2 or screen controls have to be adjusted it is to compensate for the picture tubes getting weak. Sony did have problems in that year with bad tubes.

My Tv has red light (color) out of focus..I've tried tuning the lance but it's not the problem in the lance..it's something else..don't know what..do you?

Your TV has three picture tubes which are aligned to properly converge the projected light beams on the screen. Each picture tube projects a single color of Blue Green or Red. During production your TV was carefully adjusted to properly align these colors. As a feature you have the ability to adjust these colors.thats called convergence.If you don't have a manual to show you how to adjust you can find one here http://www.mitsubishi-tv.com/support.html

Toshiba TP50G50 Theaterview picture is double with red color only

Your alignment is off. Go to the set up menu then convergence. hit right and you will be in the convergence menu. select the color that is not in alignment. The green line does not move. if blue and green are lined up the line will be cyan. if red and green are lined up the line will be yellow. when all three are lined up the color will be light. Best of luck!

Mitsubishi WS-55315 audio no picture

Good Day;

More than likely your TV has "COOLANT" (ethylene glycol) on the circuit boards. This fluid comes from the CRT's (picture tube) this fluid is used to keep the CRT's cool, such the name. This fluid from the CRT's leak when TV is on for long periods of time, the chamber expands and the seals leak.

One can remove this fluid by using "acetone" & small brush. The fluid is hard to see, use bright light, they spots can be smaller then a DIME. Also, the fluid can corrode the parts and traces on the boards. To protect the TV in future place heavy plastic or thick cardboard over affective area, make sure TV has proper air flow around TV.

If after the fluid has been removed and TV still does not work, call an Authorized Service Center to come out and repair TV after giving you an Written Estimate. The boards are not available.

Always try resetting the TV by unplugging it for one minute then plug back into A/C outlet and ALWAYS UNPLUG TV BEFORE ATTEMPTING ANY REPAIR ON THE TV.

Good Luck, big IRISH.
