Have downloaded new ace stream versions, but cant open it, it said uninstall the old version, have already done that, but still the same

You have to re-install the new version AFTER you uninstall the old version. That way the registry entries are up to date and point to the new version.

Downloaded latest adobe flash player but iplayer still wont play?

Things they don't tell you

When installing the newest version of Adobe Flash Player, it will NOT automatically uninstall the old version.

If the old version is still there, the new version will not install.

Fun stuff, huh?

Use the Adobe Flash Player Uninstaller tool.

http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/uninstall-flash-player-windows.html

Go down to -
1. Download the uninstaller for Flash Player,
and click on the blue - uninstaller (674KB)

A small window will come up on the Right -
Opening uninstall_flash_player.exe
Click on Save File.

Another small window will come up on the left. (Download window)
After the file has fully downloaded, DOUBLE-click on it.
Click on Next, Next, and Finish.

Run the tool.
When finished restart your computer if not asked to do so.
Now go here,

http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/

[NOTE*
Suggest clicking on the box to the left of -
Yes, install McAfee Security Scan Plus, ya-da, ya-da.
Removes the green checkmark.
McAfee bl-ows, and just slows your computer down anyway ]

I'm different. I use Mozilla Firefox. Don't care for Chrome, and sure don't care for Internet Explorer.

My computor wont let me open internetexplorer it show error please send to microsoft i beleive it has some kind of virus that is blocking me access ?

hi,
it's possible that this might be the result of a virus attack in which case you should run a full anti virus scan on your system. However, there's also the possibility of a missing configuration file from the internet explorer setup. I suggest you uninstall the internet explorer and then download a new current version. Hope this helps

Microsoft will not open saved documents or open new window to create new documents!

Microsoft will let you download a trail version from their site or it might have been installed by the computer manufacture but after 25 uses, you either buy it or it quits.

A better solution is to use a free compatible version from www.OpenOffice.org or use the online free version from M$ at http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/web-apps/. You can set the default file types in OpenOffice to the standard Microsoft types, i.e. .doc, .xls, etc

Another alternative is to use Google Documents.

When I try to renew my norton antivirus it says the file is too big for aol to open

Are you downloading a new version? If so, when the download window comes up, select "Save" instead of "Open". When the Save window opens up, save it to your desktop or other location that you can locate it when it has completed downloading. After the download, find the file and run it.

BTW, if you are installing a new version, make sure you uninstall the old Norton before installing the new. This is best accomplished by running the Norton Removal Tool located at:

Everytime i try to download SKYPE on my asus Eee PC 4G operating on Windows XP it wont install. It does not recognize it as a windows program. How can i get it to work?

Try an older version and switch off auto update, the new version is too intrusive anyway, it installs it self everywhere in your computer.
I am using an older version and it works fine on my desktop and my wifes Eee PC 4G.
You can download an older version here:
