Have you tried closing programs you don't use (itunes server, antivirus, etc)?

How do i fix this

For games it is common to need Adobe Flash player installed: goto get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ be sure to clear the notch in the middle area with the advertisement download and let it install.

Some games might need Java: https://java.com/download be sure to know if you have 64-bit machine, then you will need to install both versions, 32 and 64 bit. Do Start - rightclick computer - properties, then somewhere in the middle it says 32 bit or 64 bit operating system. Search at the download site for 64 bit if needed.

Good luck !!

Itunes won't download. I keep getting a message Error 7. Itunes was not installed correctly.

Hi! This issue has something to do with the installation of Microsoft's .NET framework. To resolve this issue, go to Apple's website regarding the issue by clicking the link below:

http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3074

And then download again the iTunes for your OS.

Thanks for using Fixya!

Hi I am Farah, and as I wanted to download java , it came thet" " is not valid win 32 application'. What shoudl I do? Thx

It is possible that you are attempting to install a 64-bit version of Java when you have a 32-bit operating system. Check your operating and confirm this. In Vista you can find this using Start > Control Panel > System. This is similar if you have Windows 7. Here is what it looks like:

pcjanitor.jpg
If after that you, you follow these instructions from Sun (Java) to locate and install the 32-bit version.

Error: x64.exe not a valid Win32 application This article applies to:
  • Platform(s): Windows 7, Vista, Windows XP, Windows 2000, Windows 2003
  • Browser(s): Internet Explorer, Firefox, Mozilla 1.4+
  • Java version(s): 6.0
SYMPTOMS

While trying to install Java a user gets an error message similar to:
' ... x64.exe not a valid Win32 application'

CAUSE

The error message is a result of trying to install a 64-bit version of Java on a 32-bit operating system.
SOLUTION

User needs to install a 32-bit version of Java software, since a 64-bit version is not compatible with their 32-bit operating system.

Follow these steps to download 32-bit Java
  1. Go to Manual download
  2. Click Windows XP/Vista/2000/2003/2008 Online.
  3. The File Download dialog box appears.
  4. Choose the folder location.
  5. (Save the file to a known location on your computer, for example, to your desktop).
  6. Click Save.
  7. Close all applications including the browser.
  8. Double-click on the saved file icon to start the installation process.

Cannot install itunes windows 7 64 bit

For 64 bit machines Itunes V.9.025 is the recommended version.
download link:
http://support.apple.com/downloads/iTunes_8_0_2_for_Windows_64_bit
after the download, right-click on the downloaded file and click on the "Run as Administrator" option.
this should work.
if the issue still persists, right-click on the downloaded file and select the "Compatibility" tab.
then, check the box next to "Run this program in compatibility mode".
also, disable the User account control feature before installing iTunes.
for Windows vista:

for Windows 7:

You have downloaded the wrong installer - one for a 64 bit OS instead of the normal one, for a 32 bit OS.
Get the correct one from here

BLUE SCREEN ON HP WORKSTATION WHEN I TRY TO UPGRADE TO 64 BIT XP PRO

Are you trying to do a fresh install? or upgrade from another operating system? Generally have to do a fresh install when going from 32 bit version of xp to 64 bit. IF you have more than 4 GB of ram installed, you may have to remove some, then install 64 bit XP Pro, then install your ram after. (this is a known problem with some machines and 64 bit xp) IF this is none of the above?
Please add a comment with more information as per your BSOD. This way I can identify with you what it is the system does not like

Adobe Flash Player download problem

Hi,
What Browser are you using, incidentally?
If you're trying to download the latest Flash Player, then maybe the link is detecting your browser... If you are using a 64-bit browser (I have no experience of these, I just think this might be worth a try) then maybe you should try installing Firefox and installing the Adobe Flash Player with that, to make sure you don't get 're-directed' to the 64-bit-message.
Try this link instead:
http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/

Hope this helps

Adobe flash player quit working

This problem is most likely related to a Windows Vista permissions issue. Because Vista has security features to prevent scumbag spammers and spyware from infesting your computer, programs will not automatically install themselves. I have had success by logging into Vista as an administrator, then installing whatever programs I wanted, then logging back in under my normal usage account. Sometimes simply being in the administrator account is not enough, but I hope this gets you in the right direction.

Netgear connection to apple air book

Hi claire,

You will probably need to be more specific here. Are you having trouble getting an Internet connection via plugging your ethernet cable directly into the router, or with wireless?

Does your Netgear router have wireless security enabled? A classic issue with some Apple wireless products is that the Apple notebooks sometimes require a 128-bit WEP key (as opposed to the 64-bit you may be using). Please reply with more detailed information as far as what problems you're experiencing.
