Spent hours putting info into my laptop outlook 2003 calender and then did active sync to my 2215 and the sync took the calender data from the device over my data from laptop. How do I configure activesync so the info from my laptop outlook 2003 calender is sync'd to my device? I don't want to spend hours again putting info into outlook only to loose it when trying to sync onceagain. Thanks for your help
There is a setting in Options>Rules> Conflict Resolution which states: Desktop: with the options: - Leave unresolved - Always replace the item on my device - Always replace the item on this computer
That is what I was refering to.
I assumed you changed the same appointments on your Laptop as were already on your device and you had "Always replace the item on this computer" selected.
If this is not the case then I would do the following:
Delete the current partnership on your PC. (When not connected) Open ActiveSync and go to File>Delete Partnership (save the files when it asks).
Then soft reset you iPaq and connect - during the connection wizard it will ask you which you want to do use the items on your PC/ Device/ or Combine choose which one you want.

My 2215 had a SanDisk SD memory. I tried removing it and doing the hard reset, still no luck. Is there somebody who fixes these? I have the Symbol Wireless Card and Igo bluetooth keyboard and don't want to send my 2215 to the trash heap. On the charger it shows no orange flashing charge light and it does not show up in the sync software. Thanks for any help you can offer.

The computer works fine on AC but won't stay on for more than a minute with just battery. You have to turn it on each time but it starts at the place it left off. So you can continue your work but have to push the start button to keep going.
