I have a handheld vaccum that has quit picking up anything I try to clean

Sometimes everything seems to be fine. The brushes turn, but if the brushes aren't cleaned of hair, rug tangles and so on, the brushes on the vaccum get filled and it won't puck up anything. ON THE OTHER HAND if the brushes are clean, did you check all your hoses from thr base of of vaccum where things get sucked up to the bin?

It's sounds like a bad battery. Try taking the battery to a auto parts store or tool store to have them test it.

Call dyson it should have a 5 year warranty and they are very good a customer service

You have a clog in the dirt path ... Inspect and clean it from end to end. You will probably need a broom handle and a screwdriver.

I cannot express enough you need to clean your dyson as great as it is its still a vaccum. look underneath at roller, clean out tube wash filter and check to see if vaccum ate something which is stuck inside. I have had mine for 4years and still picks up after 2goldens and kids.

Check battery maybe is old or not correctly charged.

The hose is clogged. Remove the cover to access the belt and clean out the hose.

check the filter gauze on the unsud of vack where bag is if this is blocke you will not have vacuum as there will not be ventilation thro this filter should be able to feel blow of air from this vent when vacuuming up hope this helps good luck from uk !

Did you check the hose and the inlet by the brush roll for a clog?
