This is commonly caused by a door switch that is shorted. The switch is located in the door frame opening and is activated (or closed) by a push button when the door is closed. This will enable the drive motor and heating circuits when the start button is pushed. When the door is opened, the switch no longer makes contact and the drive motor and heating circuits shut off. I would recommend checking to see if the push button the switch is just stuck (pushed in). You may have to replace the switch to correct the problem. If you would post your COMPLETE model number (located somewhere around the door opening) I can look to see how this switch is installed and any parts necessary to replace it. i hope this helps you.

Clothes not drying

Clothes not drying? Thats it? Does the dryer turn on at all? Does it tumble the clothes but doesn't get warm? If it turns on and tumbles but takes a long time to dry, then your heating element is not working. There is a thermal fuse right before the heating element that will open up if the vent becomes clogged and its gets too hot. The thermal fuse is not resettable and will have to be replaced. If the thermal fuse is o.k. then your heating element could be burned out. These two items almost require an electrical meter to read continuity to check them. Make sure the dryer is unplugged before checking these items.

I have a fridgedaire front load dryer (Model AEQ6700FS0) and it will start up, run for about 30 seconds and then it stops tumbling and the 3 lights on the far right (drying, cooldown, extended tumble)...

This is just a guess in a way, as I don't have specific knowledge about your particular model, but could it be a wrinkle prevention feature? I know some dryers have a feature which will cycle the dryer on for an occasional short tumble if the regular cycle ends and the clothes have not been removed. Opening the door might be all it takes to cancel the function.

Wed9200sq0 heats, tumbles but does not dry at any heat setting

You are correct. Pull the dryer out and disconnect your venting from the back of the dryer. Turn your dryer on and check to make sure your dryer is blowing air out of the dryer duct. If it is then leave your dryer out at least 2 ft from the wall and run a load of clothes through the dryer. If it dries your clothes normally then you have a venting restriction. Check to make sure your venting is clean, not kinked or smashed, make sure your outside vent is opening an doesn.t have something blocking it. Check your lint screen filter by running water through it. If water is not flowing through it, you have a build up of fabric softener on your screen, blocking air flow. Scrub your screen off and test again. Good Luck, Appliance Specialists

Dryer tumbles, trake long time to dry or partly

Check the hose at the rear of the drier, if the hose is restricted even to the vent outside she will not move the air to dry your clothes. Also check the filter and down inside the filter area. Clean it out.

Mayteg model DE313 clothes dryer that stopped drying clothes.

That is a very accurate assessment of the problem. Check the element for continuity between its two contacts. If there is none, replace it. If there is, look for a fuse on the side with two wires going to it. Test it for continuity. If there is none, replace it.

Electric dryer not drying clothes

The electric dryer requires 220 volts to dry clothes but only 110 volts to turn the drum .reset your circuit breaker even if it looks ok ,if that dosent work, unplug from the wall and check where the plug wire goes into the back of the dryer and look for loose or broken wires.

During the drying cycle, the dryer door opens

Chances are the little plastic latch keep is broken. Look at the door and locate a peice that will press into the front area where the clothes go in.
Once you see it, check the keeper and see if it is broken. The door should not just pop open.
