Ipaq 3760 new ROM and battery?

Hi,

I came accross old Ipaq 3760 and I would like to use it. But firstly I would like to upgrade ROM to bewer version than original and if possible one with windows version higher than 3.0. Do you know if it is possible and where from could I download this kind of ROM and where can I find information (tutorial) of upgrade procedure. Also is it possible to change battery as this one last for a few hours, and if it is, where can I buy one.

The newest ROM version is 2.2 which was released in 2002 so you might already have this version on your iPAQ. Check first!

Instructions are provided also, using the link above.

As far as the battery goes, they can be ordered from many places...ebay, PocketPC Techs and many others.

If the battery lasts for several hours, then the battery is probably just fine. My 3765 only lasts about 3-5 hours with a new battery installed, and can be as low as 1 hour, depending what you're doing on your iPAQ. These numbers are for continual usage BTW.
