M-audio Products conflict

I have recently installed a M-Audio Delta 1010LT sound card into my Dell XPS 400 computer . I have a M-Audio UNO usb Midi interface connector . So far the sound card works well however the UNO interface connector refuses to recognize that there is a sound card installed. The Delta 1010Lt came with a demo CD of PRO Tools M-Powered 7. This program absolutely insists that there is No M-Audio card or drivers any where on the system and thus refuses to finish installing . Anyone know why and how to A.make the usb midi interface - well for lack of a better word - interface with the sound card ? B. Make the PRO Tools software recognize the card and finish loading ?
The computer came with an onboard sound card that used sigma-tel drivers. I had to go into the startup screen and disable the loading of that in order to make the Delta 1010lt work .

SOURCE: Unable to install the M-Audio Delta 1010lt sound card in Vista

Hi, Your driver CD does not have the drivers for Windows Vista on it. You need to download the driver from the internet. Below is a link for Vista (as long as you're running the 32-bit version). You can click on it or cut and paste it into your browser address bar. Click on the fastest response speed underlined link on that page to download (and remember where you download it to on your computer.) Click on the file and it should install the driver for you. Hope this helps! Hal

How to connect psr-3000 to computer

You can connect it with USB connection to your computer. It should be plug and play, but some drivers might be required.
You can connect it also via MIDI interface: - you will need sound-card with MIDI input connector, or you can use special MIDI device like M-Audio UNO.

M audio sound cards

I don't believe that is going to work, the reason being the operating system will only accept one input device recording at a time...meaning you cannot record with 2 cards simultaneously....the only way you MAY be able to pull this off is if you record with 2 separate programs , and make each program use a different input device....
