Problem for Panasonic CT-30WX54 30" TV

My ct-30wx54 30" tv has no power

The TV was working fine yesterday. Today it has not power when use remote or the power button on TV. Tried to use different power jack on the wall, same problem. I bought it in 2004. Any sugestion will be greatly appreciated.

-   I had same problem. Turned off TV with remote like 100's of time before. Circumstance and conditions were no different than any other time. No pop. No surge. No smells. Nothing out of the ordinary.

So, did you guys repair? Or did you scrap and buy a new TV?-   bowe7196

-   I had the same thing happen. THere was no bad weather however the children keep turning it on and off with the switch that is attached to that electrical outlet. -   Guest

A little more details before this occured 1) Was there any bad weather in your area before this happened? 2) Is the unit surge protected? 3) Was there any type of zap sound the last time you turned it on before the power went out?
