1995 Ford Ranger 2.3 L coolant temperature gauge not working like it should

possible low coolant level
loose wire on sender unit
faulty sender unit
take the wire of the sender unit and put it to ground
with the ignition switch on , the gauge should go straight to hot
that indicates the circuit and gauge is operational which leaves the coolant level and sender unit

Inspect the old ignition cycle which is out.Is there any problem noticed of Ignition cylinder getting worn out.
Because when issue of ignition not turning off,its faulty ignition lock cylinder or faulty ignition switch.I suggest re-inspect the new ignition cylinder.

1995 ford ranger wont come out of park

try disconnecting the rods from the ignition switch shift lever inhibitor.this is basically the mechanism which prevents you from turning the ignition switch to the 'lock' position when the shift lever is not in the 'park' position

My 1995 ford ranger pick up speedometer, radio, break lights, wipers and turn signals dont work

On the ford ranger wiper motor not working, this is how u fix it. I am a licenced autobody mechanic for mercedes and my son bought a ford ranger and of course the wipers were not working-neither did the dome light and door chime.I told my son too replace all fuses ,switch and motor. And still nothing.Remove radio there is a pcm in behind- ours was unpluged. When we plugged it in the door bell would not shut off and the dome light stayed on. In stead of unplugging the pcm remove the light if wd40 does not work on the door latches. And to stop the door bell ringing remove the plastic cover around the ignition and their is a single wire with a blue connector just remove the wire it is the wire closest to the key and tape up the end and problem solved guarenteed . my email is [email protected] I will walk u through it .

I have a 1995 ford ranger and the door alarm keeps beeping ..how do stop it?

It has a bad door ajar switch. Try spraying wd-40 in the latches. The switches are in the latches. Try this for a couple of days. If it still does it, replace the switch. But since you don't know which one, you might have to do both. Try the drivers door first.
