Question about Kenmore 98702 Stacked Washer/Dryer
I have a kenmore stackable washer/dryer model # 41794712400. I can put a freshly washed load of cloths in and turn it on 100 on the high heat setting and when the buzzer goes off the cloths are still mildly damp. I have notticed that the element is still working and its getting the required voltage needed to work properly. coluld this be thermastat problem? If noot what could it be and how difficul would it be to repair? Thanks for the help!!
Check the lint catcher. Efven though you may have taken out lint it could still be clogged. Take it out and run under water. If water starts to collect then you have an invisble layer that comes from fabric softner. You just need to clean it out with warm water and soap. The only other thing it could be is lint has collected on the vent leading outside from your hose. Just simply remove it and you should be ok. I've had simliar problems with both scenerios.
