Check you have the latest version.....

if that doesn't help choose the photos you want to copy, then drag/drop them into a folder on your desktop, this will create a copy that you can burn normally, instead of using the kodak interface

Before Christmas, I was in the EasyShare program, looking for a particular picture. I hit one (or 2) keys by mistake--Either/or shift key on right side, the Control key,the one that looks like a window...

I haven't delt with the Easyshare program in a few years, but it sounds like it got corrupted, as you believe. There should be a folder in the Easyshare program or in My Picures in the computer where the pictures are stored. Go in and look around and try to find them. You can bypass the Easyshare program by having windows open them through the drive device in lMy Computer, or Computer, depending on which version of Windows you are running, and then drag and drop them from the drive to a folder on the desktop, or into My Pictures, etc.
The program may be able to be reinstalled by removing the files, if you want to use the EasyShare program, but if you do this and install it again, if your pictures are in the program folder, they could be erased.
Wish I had more, but hope this helps.

Can't burn pictures to CD with Easyshare 8.0. Software asks to insert CD, when I already did, then Burner Error message: Pictures can't be copied to Disk. Have tried many different approaches.

Are you using the correct CD disc for your burner. Is there another program on your computer that can burn a CD? Most computers come with basic CD burning programs.

Have transferred pictures from camera to kodak easyshare . how do i now transfer from kodak easyshare to a cd? thanks a. l. brooks sbackrx@grceba.net

On the newer versions of Easyshare
7.0 up to 8.0
there is an option to CD/DVD Burn

Just simply insert the CD on your Computer and Put the pictures you wanna burn on the Picture Tray<right side pane on easyshare>
Click on the icon for CD Burn

If you have a lower version of Easyshare

visit www.kodak.com/go/easysharesw
you can download the latest version from there
but before downloading it
make sure you remove your current version
so it will not conflict with each other

Putting pitures on to computer

Drag pictures from kodak easyshare program to your "pictures" folder.
You can also bypass the easy share program and go to "my computer" than find the drive that has your camera and open it. Now you drag drag these pictures to your "pictures" folder under my documents or wherever you store them

Loading pic to cd

The answer depends partly on your operating system, and how you want to store the picture(s).

If you're using Win XP, for example, you need a CD Burning program such as Nero or Roxio. Windows' packaged burner doesn't easily allow you to add more pictures later.

With your camera attahced to the computer via the USB cable, turn the camera on, then start your CD burning program. Search until you find the "removable drive" named "Kodak EasyShare", then click on the top folders in each folder list until you get to where your pictures are.

Easyshare converted all of my jpgs to easyshare files

i'm not sure how to change the default picture program... but i can tell you that you won't lose pictures if the easyshare program is deleted. it's just an extra program to view/edit pics.... the actual pics are located in a generic folder somewhere on your computer. click properties on one of the pics in easyshare, and see where it's located. then just go to that folder through windows....

hope i helped a little, sorry i don't have the solution for the other part

Transfer folder(s) of pictures from my Kodak EasyShare program to 'My Pictures'on my computer. having problem with 'Burn cd/dvd' application on EasyShare software.

you're not trying to burn the pictures to your 'MyPictures' thing.

close that and go get the EasyShare disc, your EasyShare Kodak camera (i hope) and your transfer cord

Plug your transfer cable into the camera from the small end, and the large end into the USB port of your computer. This allows the computer to recognize the camera and begin building adapters for it.

Insert the disk for the Kodak Easy Share program into your disk drive. Go to your "Start" button and hit "Run." This will bring up a window allowing you to choose the letter of your disk drive to find the file to run. Your computer may have Autorun, so it is possible you do not have to follow this step. If you do not have Autorun, click on the letter of your drive and choose the "Easyshare.exe" file when it populates. Then hit "Run" on the bottom of the window to continue.

Click on "Next" on your Install Wizard when it begins. This sets up the program to be used if you do not already have it on your computer. Click "Next" on all following boxes, as this gives you the basic set up and files needed to run the program.

Wait for the program to begin. Once it has populated the window with a gray Kodak Easy Share block at the top of the window, you are ready to begin. Click on "Add Pictures" on the top left corner of the window. A new window will generate. Go down to the last half of the window on the left and click on the Kodak Easy Share file. This is where your pictures are being taken directly from your camera, which is the drive or USB port it is connected to.

Choose on the next box the folder you wish to save your pictures under. You can opt to leave it in the Easy Share folder, or to rename the folder for the type of pictures you are uploading. If you have wedding pictures, you could right click on the folder and hit "Rename." Then type in "Wedding Pictures" and click anywhere on the screen. This will save your folder name.

Delete the pictures from the camera after they upload is an option you can choose to click on if you want your camera erased when the pictures are done. If you want this, click the box next to the "Delete From Camera" option under the folder name area. When you are ready to upload, click "Done" in the bottom left corner of the window. Now you have uploaded your pictures to your computer and cleared your camera.

Pictures and text are grainy and not clear on easyshare program--the monitor is clear on all other programs--what causes everything to be not clear on easyshare?

Hi geraldbell,

I haven't actually seen that problem before. Here's what I would suggest first:

1) Go to Add/Remove Programs and uninstall the EasyShare software. Reboot.

2) Go here to download the latest and greatest EasyShare.

3) Install that, reboot, and see if it helps.

If not, repost and I'll help you with the next step.
