Re: my Pioneer DEH-P4700MP keep resetting when car...
Did you use a harness to connect the wires?
Could be the power line (red) is connect to the ACC (Accessory) orange line, so every time you switch off the vehicle the power to the stereo is interrupted.

If you are looking to connect this radio at home, you will first need some kind of 12V DC power supply with an operating range anywhere between 9-16V. You can purchase these online or at most electronics retailers (Radio Shack, Fry's Electronics, etc.). Simply connect the constant memory power wire (yellow) and switched accessory power wire (red) from the Pioneer's wiring harness to the "+" terminal on the power supply and the ground (black) wire of the Pioneer to the "-" terminal on the power supply. Make sure to have at least one speaker connected to the speaker output leads of the Pioneer for sound. The speaker connections are as follows: Front Left + (white) FL - (white/black stripe), F Right + (gray) FR - (gray/black), Rear L + (green) RL - (green/black) RR + (violet) RR - (violet/black). And that's it! Sound at home with your Pioneer radio! I hope this information was helpful.
Take the faceplate off and check the metal contacts on the deck and on the rear of the faceplate... Make sure they are clean and all intact.. You can use a soft pencil eraser to clean the metal contacts.. see if this improves things.

Here's a link to the wiring color code for the Mazda 626. This link is to downlaod a copy of the DEH-P4700MP owners manual. The wiring diagram is on page 50. You can simply connect the wires by function to the vehicle wiring. But a better solution to avoid cutting or tapping into the vehicle wiring is to purchase an aftermarket wiring harness. The Metra part number 70-7901 appears to be the correct harness for your vehicle and is available from Crutchfield for $12.99.
