Question about Intel REALTEK nc-r150201 Network Adapter

Microphone doesn't work

I was trying to figure out a way to keep my speakers on while I made a Skype call and somehow (!) can't get the microphone on my headset now. During Skype call it says "microphone muted", I click the muted button (on screen and on headset) nothing happens. I think it's something I 'adjusted' (I have no business doing so) when I got into Realtek.

Any suggestions?

The Realtek network adapter did not have an effect with your microphone. You just have to change back your sound card's settings.

go to start>control panel.
open "Sounds and Audio Devices".
click on the "Audio" tab at the top.
Under "Sound Recording", make sure that your sound card is selected as the default device.
click Apply. Click "Volume" and make sure that your microphone is selected. move the volume to half.
close that page.
Under Sound Playback, click Volume.
make sure that the Microphone is not muted, but that it is at 1/4 of its volume. close that page.
Click OK.

this should take care of it.

The only real solution to finding the drivers for these generic devices is to figure out, somehow, what chipset they're using, then find driver's for that. Other than that, unless you have the disk, there's not a lot you can do.

What's what speaker wire?

Since you gave no information about what you are showing in the video, I will guess as to what you want and need. I see 3 wires coming out of the plug rear. Two appear to be red and one black. Assuming the other side of the plug is really connected to the (assumed) radio and is (assumed) working, use the trial and error method to test with a good (assumed) speaker. Try the red and black first...

Computer doesn"t start keep rebooting

Try moving the card to a different slot.
Swap slots with another card if all the slots are full.
If this doesn't work, post a reply / add a comment to this post and I'll dig deeper for more options, but in most cases like this, using a different slot or swapping slots with another card will most often fix the issue.

Only one of my speakers work

Make sure the cable is all the way in and that your using the right jack. The green jack is usually the correct one. Make sure any other speaker wires are hooked up properly.
