Moving mouse problems. Did driver update windows 7 ultimate

Thanks for posting your question here on fixya!
Re-installing the mouse is the usual fix for this, but if that fails to work, then try another mouse, or try the mouse with the problem on another computer to make sure it is working okay. If it does the same thing on a different computer, you may need a new mouse. that will save many headaches. If you can go to a second hand store or a habitat for humanity store you can get used ones for a buck or two. You can get them cheap at a dollar store or Big Lots, or even at a drug store. The new ones have a full warranty, the ones from second hand shops may only have a return policy of a week or 24 hours.

Hi , I am trying to close Google so i can run my Ccleaner. I then wish to run Google Chrome when Ccleaner finishes. best wishes from Ivan Broxton

Simply click on the red X in the top right corner to close the window. CClean doesn't care what is running as it does its work and neither should you.

Thanks for your question @

The mouse was working and then just stopped. The light is on on the mouse. The cursor works on the touch pad but not with the mouse.

What type of mouse do you have. If you have a optical one, the "eye" would of probably have failed and you will have to buy a new mouse.

My mouse stop working right after I used it. How do I fix it. The direction told me to pssh the button under the mouse. I did that then it said if it does not work in 30 seconds the reciever and try again...

I believe that you are using a wireless mouse. If so, then the best thing to do is reset both the receiver and the mouse. Make sure that you have the mouse upside down for this. Press and hold the reset button on the receiver for about 3 seconds then after that quickly push the button on the mouse. That would then sync it to the receiver. Make sure to press the button on the mouse right after you release the button on the receiver.

My mouse just stopped working so I disconnected it from my laptop. Now when I try to connect it the computer is not finding the hardware. What should I do?

Probably the mouse is already defective. To confirm though, try using the mouse in another PC, if it works, try connecting it again to your laptop. If it works then fine, if still not, try using another port if this is a USB mouse. If still your mouse will not work, try using a known good mouse in your laptop, this should work and in this case just buy a new mouse. If however a known good mouse will still not work on your laptop, then another possibility is the USB ports are disabled. You can enable this by entering the unit BIOS setup which is normally done during power-on before the unit boots up in the OS.

My computertells me i can not download until my file that is already in progess is finished . how do I cancel this file.

This is a stickey wicket ... I have had limited success just letting the computer take its time to finish file #1.

Alternatively, do the three finger wave (<Ctrl><Alt><Del>) all pressed at the same time to see what processes are running. Stop everything. Reboot.

Please preform routine maintenance ... using CClean (free), MS Defrag and the free Spy Bot - Search and Destroy.

Can't uninstall a program on my says (unable to create a temporary file.setup aborted...error 5 access denied)

1st to make sure u have the administrative privileges to uninstall or install any program into your pc, if not then have to login as administrative before u do so.

If the problem still then u can go into the Windows Safe Mode to uninstall the program u mention.

If again this does not solve your problem, the try to use the 3rd party uninstall software to help u like CClean or Revo Uninstaller.
