Here is a picture of my problem www.i44.tinypic.com/5wic0h.jpg
The chances are that the issue is a faulty drum unit. Remove the drum from the machine and check for dirty marks on the drum. You do not need to do anything like reinstalling software and you cannot clean nozzles. It is a laser printer and doesn't have nozzles. Depending on how much your machine cost and whether you can source a drum at a reasonable price it may be more cost effective to buy a new machine..
Measure the gap between "splodges" if it is 40mm then your toner is at fault, if 75mm then it is the drum. Judging by the picture I'd suggest it is indeed your drum unit. Hope this is useful :)
so there's nothing you think I can do to fix/clean it? I just checked the drum, and it seems that the side that's printing marks, is a lot lighter color than the rest of the drum, not sure if that relevant at all.
Time for a new printer??
I guess so! :[

Ditto: your link is bad to pic.
just looking at the picture it looks like the prining nozzle needs cleaning you might have to uninstall restart your computer then reinstall it doing an alignment check and print out a test page you might have a look at a manualhttp://welcome.solutions.brother.com/BSC...

Your Brother print is a laser toner machine the picture you upload that have the large marks to one side are toner marks and its looks like its coming from the photocoductor drum. This could be a faulty drum or a leaking printer cartridge.
Take the cartridge out and drum unit and check if you can see a large build up of toner to the left or right side of the cartridge and drum unit. You can take a picture of the unit and post up
Just to check once again, remove the printer from the PC, and then Uninstall the printer. Now shut down PC , restart and install the drivers once again, connect printer when it is requested- PROMPT . Now take a test print to check. try cleaning nozzle. repeat the process if you see any improvement , if not contact service.
