I own a printer cartridge refilling store and I can't refill these cartridges yet because the chip needs to be replaced/reset and we don't have the technology to do it yet. The reason why only the refilled yellow is working is probably because the chip still thinks there's ink in the cartridge. However, your yellow cartridge will most likely soon not print as well. The other cartridges the chips are telling the printer they are empty. Printer manufacturers like to do this kind of thing so you have to spend the extra money to buy their ink. I would not recommend even trying to refill these yourself until you see reputable retailers with refills (i.e.- Cartridge World, Office Depot, etc).
First of all you should not use a refilled cartridge as its not good for long run...the ink sensor got damaged and needs replcement...and please dont tell lexmark about this if the machine is under warranty ...they wont help you other wise.
Go to this webpage: http://www.ldproducts.com/Dell-Ink,Photo-all-in-one,926,Ink-Cartridge,3234,printer.html
Click on the links for InTec Refill Kit for Dell MW175 Black
and InTec Refill Kit for Dell MW174 Color.
Scroll down to Specifications and click on the Instruction Video link for each. That should help some.
You are doing nothing wrong. The nozzles are clogged. Try taking a clean syringe and put your finger on one of the magenta (red) refill holes. Fill the syringe with air. Put it on the second magenta refill hole and blow the air inside. That should force out the ink that has dried and that is not letting the new ink come out. You might have to do that several times. Sometimes, it can help. If that doesn't work, go to a refill shop, they should be able to clean the print nozzles on your cartridge, no need to buy new ones.
