Question about Pioneer SD-643HD5 64" Rear Projection Television
My blacks have become increasingly grey and washed out in color. what can i do to get my black levels back?
My quick and easy solution was to clean the dust off the lenses of each CRT.
1) Unplug TV
2) Remove the back panel.
3) Wipe each of the three (plastic!) lenses lightly, with a lint-free microfiber lens cloth. Do not use anything that might scratch the plastic lenses.
Other than that, you'll need to hire someone to adjust your gray scale tracking.
