I'm sorry for the difficulties you're experiencing in adjusting the brightness of the Portable DVD player. Please follow the below steps to adjust the brightness.

I have the Insignia Dual 7" Portable DVD Player. Model NS-7DPDVD. I'm noticing a yellowish color on the movies. I adjusted the brightness wheels on both but it's not the brightness it's...

Bring up a menu on the DVD player screen (not a DVD menu, the dvd players settings menu). Is this menu also tinted yellow? It probably is, and you probably have a faulty part internally.

DROPPED IT AND CRACKED SCREEN CAN IT BE REPLACED N HOW MUCH WOULD IT COST .

Price depends on model. It would probably be cheaper to replace the entire thing. But if you must you could (if you find a professional to do the work) buy a similar model and ask a professional to swap out the "monitors".

Just got this dvd/vcr combo as a gift we didn't get the manuel. i have a digital cable box and a floor model tv. the yellow white and red cables where do they go on these items?

I have the 7 inch monitor but my manual says: "If you feel bright unsuitable during playback, press MONITOR button to select bright adjustment and press + or - buttons until moderate bright is available." If that doesn't work you may have stumbled on the reason the company is no longer in business. They sold crappy stuff.
