I've just recently bought the finepix z 10 mp. Uploading photos is no problem, however when I go to upload my videos, i cant even find them in my upload program?? Nor can I cilck/drag/copy/paste from the camera folder in My Computer, as nothing shows up.
You need to have Quicktime 7.0 because the files are saved as a MPEG4. Go to Apple's website and download and install the latest version of Quicktime. Once you do that, you can use any basic movie program (like Windows Movie Maker) or just copy it from My Computer.

I believe its the camera, most cameras like this only have internal memery and that take alot of battery power. And for the uploading, you'll need good strong batteries like regular duricell. camera batteries wont work that well because they were only made for one flask kind of deal and not for prolonged use like uploading
The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.
Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo management program such as Picasa. Organize edit and share your photos
you can download the software from some of the available following links ...
if you are using WINDOWS XP then you can transfer photos to PC easily with out any software... you can go to the windows movie maker and try ... your digital camera will be automatically detected in windows XP i think...
