L412 wireless not enabled how to set up the wifi I already install the drivers but i didn't get any wireless symbol?

The HP Wireless Assistant application, which should be installed on your notebook, has an option to turn the WiFi radio on and off.

See if proper driver is installed or not . If the wireless driver is installed and your device is good. Search for wireless symbol o the function keys . To enable wireless just press Fn + the function key ! or Shift + function key , if Fn key not available .

Check the BIOS settings to see if the wireless card installed and enabled.
If it is enabled then install the wireless driver.
Download the wireless and device drivers from the Acer WEB site. Makesure you select the model of your laptop the drivers you that require thatmatches the Windows version that is installed on your laptop. Use this link toget to the Acer support: -

Hello. It's possible the driver for the wireless card(network interface controller) was not installed properly. Try to download the drivers from Toshiba website and install on your laptop. You may get the WiFi Driver from this link

There's two WiFi Driver available, try to use the Realtek first and if it doesn't work try the Atheros. If WiFi driver installed correctly you should no longer see the "!" symbol and you will be able to enable wireless on your laptop using FN key combination.

The wireless maybe disable or not install. If the wifi is disable just enable it. Go to control panel locate the wifi icon click it then choose enable
If you cannot see the wifi icon the possible problem is no driver install. Re-install the driver of the wifi network to work out again

some laptops have a special button for that ...take a look if you see some buttons in front of the edge ..and see the wifi symbol ..after press it look if any leds are on for wireless
Another thing you should check if the driver for the wireless card is installed and it is enabled...For that get into bios first and default all settings to the factory optimal defaults...after that save changes with f10 and restart ...now is the time to look into the device manager to see if any of the newly enabled devices are in yellow with an ask sign on them ...In this case those are the ones that need drivers to be installed

First off make sure that the driver of the wireless adapater is already installed then you need to enable the wireless card of your laptop by pressing FN + F5 then try to connect to the router if it ask you for a Network key it means that the wireless connection is secured and to obtain the network key you can access the wireless setting on the router page..
