Grab a paperclip straiten it out and carefully slide it into a small hole on the front of the cd-rom drive until it pops out.

If I'm being too literal then I suggest opening windows media player and playing the cd with that. I think after Windows XP Micro$oft got rid of the cd player or buried it in the windows system folders

Please I would like to copy a cd from husbands library onto a dane elec 1gb.. Can anyone please help me? thank you

If you have Windows Media Player it will copy the CD. All you have to do is insert the CD select WMP and copy. You will have to selector that hard drive you mention to copy too. It is best to also select MP3 as the format, this way you get the names and titles of each track on the CD. All of these come under the menus of the Windows Media Player Library.

My computer cannot find cdrom set-up. new web cam cant be installed to computer. brand enet pc camera.

When you open your 'my computer' icon, do you see your CD drive? If so, double click on you CD drive and open the files on the CD and look for the setup icon to double click.

If you have documentation there might be direction on a command to type into your 'run' box, (get to by clicking on Start, then Run.

Windows media player let me burn cd but other software dosnt work

All you need to do is change the device it is going to burn the files to. Apparently it is currently set to burn an .nrg image file to your hard disk. If you click on the down arrow next to the Image Drive, you will see your DVD/CD drives listed there.

Cd Player wont open

Crafty Little Devil this one.

Turn on the system and enter CD mode. While pressing the stop button on the unit( the little circular button with the dark square), press the CD Open/Close button on the unit. 'UNLOCKED' appears on the display.
This one has been bothering quite a lot of you.
This method was copied from another forum So i DO NOT know if this one works but you can always try.

You cant open the cd drive?
If thats the problem you can find a small hole on the front. Use a srateed paper clip to push the mechanic inside to open the drive.

If somthing else happend, let me know.
