Question about Brother Printers & Copiers

The main problem I'm having is contacting brother-usa.com I purchased a new printer and tried getting to their website to register it. If I go thru http://welcome.solutions.brother.com/bsc/public_s/index-usa.html they have link to register but I didn't remeber my password so they sent me an e-mail with a link which attempts to take me to brother-usa.com but I don't think the website (or links to it) are working as my browser just hangs and eventually times out. I have not been able to get to a brother website for several months and, as I said, I need to now in order to register my printer. This is very frustrating.

Where can I get an LCD for a Brother printer

My Brother 465CN recently decided that even though I have a new black ink cartridge in, that there is no cartridge.


The code is within the ink cartridge itself. If it is not a main brand cartarage, you may have th esame problem with both . I would suggest buying a main brand one .
heads can be cleaned with a tooth brush and alcohol. Dry well.

Connect my printer to pc


More than likely it will require a USB cable and unfortunately many printer manufacturers do not include that to keep their price point low in this competitive market. Go purchase a USB 2.0 cable or borrow one from a neighbor. Install the software that came with the printer, if it didn't come with any, i.e. you purchased it used, then download the software from Brother's website at http://www.brother-usa.com/support/default.aspx?PGID=1&WT.svl=contact. This site lets you select by product group, then model and then it will present you with driver options. After installing the driver then connect your printer and test.

Trying to register my new printer with I.R.I.S. Website www.irislink.com/registerHP says that site is down. I purchased today hp Officejet Pro 8500 AiO Printer A909a.

Toner light is on to replace and have replaced the cartridge. It is still on. Will not print anything.


Did you try rebooting the printer maybe that will clear the error. If that does not work I would contact Brother and see if there support team can assist you.

I would try to update the driver for your printer, if you have not tried this yet. You can get the latest driver from http://www.brother-usa.com/Support/?WT.svl=support. Better yet, this link should take you right to the downloads for your machine: http://tinyurl.com/lmjxa.

Also, you should check the basics (all cables securely connected, power is on, paper is loaded, no jams anywhere, clear your printer cache, etc.).
