Hi, my sister has one of these phones, there is no standard txt (it just says 'message') message option as well as some other new se phones.
it is ok untill u try n send an animation then it turns ur sms to mms.
if this is not ur problem u can go to sonyericsson web site and they will send u text and mms/internet profile via sim update for free for ur service provider. hope this helps
