Program light and 12:00 are flashing, no buttons work
I set up my Cuisinart Grind and Brew manually this morning. I got all the parts in place, water in the resevoir, etc., but the Program light just keeps flashing green and the time keeps flashing 12:00 no matter what I do. No buttons work no matter how long I press them, unplugging does not seem to affect the problem. I left it unplugged for five hours this morning. When I plugged it back in the Program light and the time 12:00 still just kept flashing in unison. Please help.

Push the program button one more time - the first push allows you to set the time, the second push stores the time you have just entered, and then you have to press it one more time to make the light next to the program button light up tell it to brew at the set time.
You should download manual if you dont have it. I was having problems with mine read the manual and worked. I think you might have to program it like I did. I set the clock and then programed it for half and hour later and it worked. You have to program it when light is blinking and same for when you are setting the time.Hope that helps.
The part the manual doesn't mention is that, after you have set the program time, you have to press the program button one more time. THEN, set it to auto-on. Also, make sure that the clock is set for AM/PM as appropriate - it will display PM if it is set for PM, and will not give an indication either way if it is set for AM.
This happens when the machine needs cleaned. Fill coffee maker with white vineger instead of water. Turn grind off, make sure empty pot is in place. Brew a pot of hot vineger. Repeat. Brew a pot of hot water. Repeat. This process removes mineral buildups inside machine. If you have access to filtered water, start using that to brew your coffee. I do and probably do this process 1 per 6 weeks.
