The keyboard is probably going bad. You can try my tip under WW1000 or contact Geo. Beyers Co. @ 1800-392-8085 for a keyboard rebuild. Tell them O'Reilly sent you.
The WW1000 does not have an addressable memory. The reprint key only allows you towhat has last been typed. To get an addressable memory there will be 3 keys on the left that say save, play and delete.

For the LexMark Wheelwriter 1000 you can only "Reprint" the information you have typed. Once you turn off the machine the "reprint" mode will not longer retain information.
