You need the original remote. there is 3 up/down buttons, one is volume, one is channel, the other is input. The input up/down will scroll through all the inputs. Some of these TV's don't have it on the front panel

If one or more of the inputs is "missing" or not there you may need to do a hard reset of the TV with the original remote.

If you want to try this confirm the actual model number and I will tell you how to do it.

AWe are attempting to play PS Three, but the Inputs on the front and back of tv for the RCA cables arent working. What should we do to make the inputs work?

change the input, i have the same configuration ps3 and 52 inch rca, just plug it into front and change the input to front, if that dont work try this, since your ps3 probably came off a tv that had hdmi you need to hold down the ps3 button for 9 seconds and it will ask you if you want to change it to lower settings, but first make sure you have the input right

On my Dir.TV box is a door in the lower right front. Behind this door is a red button. Press it and turn the box back on if it doesn't come back on by itself. It will go through a reboot cycle of 5 to 10 minutes. That should get the satellite going but I'm not sure about the TV input problem. Do you have a menu button on the TV? If so you should be able to find a way to change the input. If not, find your model number, then Google "TV remote" and you should find sites that will sell you an original remote. They will have a box that you can enter your model # into and tell you your remote number. Then Google that part number and shop for the best price. Good luck.

Hi hula,

If it's an older TV it's possible that it did not have RCA inputs (composite video inputs). If it's not on the back, often it's in the front but hidden behind a plastic panel that opens down to reveal the input and perhaps a few more buttons.

Is there an "Input" button on the remote or on the front panel? If yes, then the video input is there somewhere, maybe hidden behind a door.

If all you see is one screw looking connector on the back where the antenna or cable TV goes to, then you have an older TV without a video input. You can still use a gizmo called an RF modulator to put the signal on TV channel 3 or 4. They cost from $10 to $20. You'll lose the really good DVD quality, but the quality will still be very good and still let you use your TV.

Hope that helps,

-Vince

HDMI connection problem

On your TV set remote are you selecting the proper input; for example when you have different devices connected to the back of your tv set, dvd player, vcr, cable box etc; you have to tell the tv which device you want to use by selecting the right one on your tv remove input selection. Hope this was any help.
