Yes, you can use your CDC634 with your ARX6270R. The CDC634 has a round C-Bus connector and the ARX6270R also uses a round C-Bus connector so the two devices will connect together.
The only CLARION code available for free (using a serial number ) from anywhere on the Internet is if your radio also has a BARCODE SERIAL NUMBER beginning with C7000000 + + + + on a label somewhere on the metal casing.
(There are usually two barcodes on one label. The one required is the lower one )
If not then it will only be available from your Main Dealer or a Decoding
i have just got the same cd changer from a mate, it had a FMC200 controler, i think the fmc200 module plugs into a head units ariel slot and the cd changer, transmits a radio frequency which your head unit picks up.... not to sure as i have just got the unit with all the paper work and manuals
It would be fairly hard to do that - even if you matched the wires perfectly there's no guarantee that the data protocol for controls would be similar.
