check that there is ink in the cartridge, that teh tape over the print jets is removed and that the cartridge is inserted correctly.Run troubleshoot printer to find any faults with the machine.
According to the Official Canon knowledge base, it means that either print head is not installed at all, not installed correctly or the print head is defective. Install or reinstall the print head or if that doesn't help, replace the print head with a new one...
Also your print head nozzles can be clogged with dry ink, so before changing the print head with a new one, try to clean the print head with some warm water so the dry ink can come out of it... If that is of no help, as I said above - buy a new print head and install it or buy a new printer, if buying a new p. head is too expensive compared to a price of a brand new printer...
6502 error meant that you have to reset your printer..try manual reset by following this step turn off you printer..unplug the cable power on your printer {not on your electric cord } then plugin the power together with press the power button (at the same time), hold the power then press reset button for 4 times..hope it can solve your problem
