Hello I can't seem to get my x5650 lexmark printer to print think my computer has it set up via waveless instead of usb.

When I try to print a test page it comes up with Incorrect port detected.

When you loaded the drivers there may have been an option to select parallel port or USB if so you may have selected the wrong one. If so reload drivers and watch out for this option. Hope this helps

Print spooler subsystem stopped


Start and stop the print spooler Windows XP
To start and stop the print spooleropen Computer Management, click Start,click Control Panel, double-click Administrative Tools,and then double-click Computer Management.In the console tree, click Component Services.
Under Console Root click Services (Local)
In the details pane, double-click Print Spooler.Do one of the following depending on the task you want todo:
Click Stop to stop the service.
Click Start to start the service.When you try to install a printer and get an error message "PrintSpooler is not running" then Print Spooler need to be configured. Open Print Spooler as detailed above and click on the Generaltab then select these items - Startup type select AutomaticService status click StartThen click OK

I installed new cartridges (Lexmark brank both black and color) and my printer won't work now.


A quick fix for most communication errors can be achieved by resetting the printer and/or rebooting the PC. Simply disconnect the printer from your computer (if USB connected)> reboot your pc > unplug and re-plug the printer into the power source to reset it. When the printer turns on, reconnect it to your computer (if USB connected). Then try to print again once the computer fully recognizes the USB connection or when the WiFi light on the printer turns solid green (if WiFi connected.).


If that doesn't help, try the steps below:

  1. Disconnect the USB cable connecting the printer from your computer.
  2. On your computer, go to Control Panel > Printers and Faxes.
  3. Delete the Lexmark print object.
  4. Reboot computer.
  5. Re-brick your printer by pulling out the power supply - black box where the power cord is plugged into on the back of the printer, and re-plug after 30 seconds.
  6. When the printer turns on, reconnect it to the computer.
  7. Wait until your computer fully recognizes the USB connection. To check, go to Control Panel > Printers and Faxes. If you see a new Lexmark print object in the list, try to print a document to verify that the problem is fixed.

Printer will not print

I use win 7 and have 5650 all in one i cant print maps or doc off the net why ty


It could be a driver issue. Try to uninstall any existing Lexmark X5650 driver from your computer first. Go to Start menu > Programs > Lexmark X5600 Series Printer > Tools > Uninstall. Reboot pc when prompted.
When your pc turns on, check if your Windows 7 is running on 32-bit or 64-bit system type. Go to Start menu > right-click on Computer > Properties. Take note of the System Type. Then download the driver using the links below:

Have a lexmark x5650 and i can't get it to print from my wireless computer


make sure the drivers are installed correctly in order for you to print wireless plus make sure the printer is able to connect wirelessly to your computer to allow you to print things off

Lexmark z2400 will not print, the comuter says document is pending. All connections are correct. Do I have to uninstall the printer, and reinstall with the CD? I rebooted the printer, and nothing. It is...


I am assuming you have it connected via USB to your computer. If you have an additional USB port on your computer then try powering off the printer, attach the USB connection to a new USB port, go to the Control Panel (Start, Settings Control Panel), go to Administrative Tools, go to Services, scroll down to Printer Spool, stop the service, start the service, and power on printer. Try to print a test page. If it fails, power off the printer and delete the print driver. Reinstall the driver using the CD.
