Does not turn off after a wash

Just bought one of these a week ago and it does not turn off when done washing. What i mean by this is I hear a low humm and I have to manually push in the button on the top to get it to stop. I called the 1 800 service number but it is automated to come out to the house for a service call. I really just want to speak with some one first to tell me if this is normal or not before I call them again as I already had them out to the house because when they hooked up my washer they mixed up the hot and cold water lines. so far I am not too happy with this wash machine.

Thank you for the info. I checked the water temp when I put the controller on cold/cold and within a few seconds hot water started to fill up the tub. How do I fix this? Is it easy or do I need to call service out AGAIN (they should have caught this the first time when they noticed my hot cold lines were swapped during install) or can I fix it easilly? Once this is fixed do you think this will solve the problem of my washer not turning off (humming) after a cycle? Thank you for your advice.

Thank you. there was a problem with the hoses. The leg of the washer was actually on the cold water hose crimping it so we could not get cold water. Now my washer is working, but still am not happy with the install crew or service, both should have noticed this.

    Thanks for your advice

I have a wf-t1340tp washing machine I bought a week ago. it takes more than an hour to wash a load. is it normal?

Is it taking a long long time to fill with water or is it washing for that long or spinning for that long or just waiting between cycles for that long. The maximum time should be around 30 minutes or less.
