Your external battery probably totally discharge or maybe your machine is not charging the battery anymore because of the broken or bad IRDA (i/o) ports from where you connect the power adaptor to the machine or the worse part is the charging chip inside the machine is already bad that needs to be replaced. The good news is is it can still be repaired. Give us a call if you still needs help at (775) 358-2922 as for Randy or visit our site at http://freshpoint.org
You can do two things to determine if the battery is dead:
Use a USB charger to try to charge your battery or
Replace the battery with a new one. Unfortunately, I can't find cheap third batteries for your product.
Both items can be found on ebay or amazon.
Both solutions will cost you around US$20-30 each. It's up to you to see if it is worth the cost. But you will definitely know if your battery is dead or if it is the unit that's not charging the battery.
If you go for this solutions, the outcome will definitely be a Win situation for you. Either you will have replaced the battery (if the battery is dead), or you will have two batteries and a charger (if it is the unit that is not recharging your battery).
Make sure that you have the ethernet cord from your modem plugged into the WAN/Internet port on your router. Then unplug the power cord from your cable modem and plug it right back in. After the modem fully comes back online, unplug the power cord on the wireless router and plug it back in. wait 30 - 60 sec and then try and connect.
Most cable companies only allow one active"CPE" at a time for internet access. All this means is when you change what is connected to the cable modem you must always reboot the cable modem to allow access.
I have purchased recently a USB wireless internet service from forton modem . The USB modem is not working the desktop but when I try to install the USB modem on my computer desktop massage display error 797 Epivally cdma driver not installed Is any component - driver missing on laptop as it was formatted earlier.
This is only a suggestion you might want to replace the modem after all you have had a good use out of it I think its finally tiring out?
REPLACE IT you'll have much more fun with a newer one not to mention YEARS of fun.
