I can't view images on Internal memory when SD card is inserted.

Put the card in, then select "Copy" from the playback menu. You will then be given the option of copying individual images or all of them. See the instructions beginning on page 99 of the manual: http://www.fujifilm.com/support/digital_cameras/manuals/pdf/index/s/finepix_s5700_s700_s5800_s800_manual_01.pdf

Samsung PL100 - strange problem

Put the card back into the camera and format it.

In the future, always format the camera after you finish download your pictures, instead of deleting them.

I want to keep some pictures on my camera and delete some

While viewing the image, press the trashcan button. The camera will ask for confirmation of the delete.
I would recommend against making a habit of keeping some pictures on the camera or memory card and deleting others. You're guaranteed to fragment the memory, leading to camera speed loss and eventual memory corruption. The camera is an image capturing device, not an image storage device. If you need to keep some pictures on the camera, copy them to a computer, format the memory card, and then copy them back using a card reader.

My flip camera says its empty but when I try to record it says its full??

Your memory card may think it's full if you've been deleting pics from it when it's in your PC and not in the camera.

If you've offloaded all the pics you want to from your memory card, put it back in your camera and "reformat" the card - there should be instructions how to do this in your camera manual. (If you've misplaced your manual you can likely find an online version on the website of your camera manufacturer). Hopefully this will fix your problem.

From now on, (even if you have to buy a new memory card), don't do any editing or deleting of pics directly on the memory media while it is in your PC (or Mac). Offload your pics to a file of their own on the PC (you can edit pics from that file). Then put the memory card back into the camera, verify that you did indeed successfully offload the pics to the PC (with the media card out of the PC), then delete the pics from the card while it's in the camera.

Reformat the memory card periodically (in the camera) after you've offloaded your pics (reformatting will erase all pics so you've gotta be sure you captured them elsewhere) to maintain the 'health' & full functionality of your memory card.

thanks.

After deleting the pictures from the memory card and putting it back into the camera, the pictures are loaded back on the card, what could be the problem? When I put a new card it acts like it is froze up.

Sounds like you failed to delete internal memory from setup menu before inserting card, and ALWAYS use camera to delete pics...from internal memory and from card...do not delete pics using a PC, or format card on PC.

Camera keeps saying internal memory is full, even after putting a

Your internal memory is separate from your memory card. Think of it as two folders, the internal memory cannot be removed, and the memory card is one you can take with you. You can put new memory cards in it all day, the internal memory will still have pictures in it. You may wish to consider copying all internal memory to the memory card. To do this, make sure your camera has a memory card in it. View pictures on your internal memory, then from the menu option select 'copy all images to external memory.' In doing this, all of your photos will be moved, you can then clean out your internal memory by deleting everything/formatting it. :)

Deleting pictures from memory card

The camera lacks internal RAM or space on the card to do enough caching to delete the pictures. If you were to not exceed about 60% capacity of the card the camera may be able to delete as much as you want on the card. You have to try this. If the camera has a format option for its memory card you can try it out to see if this will clean up the card. The other solution is to have a PC computer. Most of these devices are designed only for PC interface. Jerry G.

Deleting Mass Pictures

You can and should delete your images while the memory card is in your camera. In your manual or on the menu of the camera find the "Format" procedure and format the memory card.

Always do this with the camera. It does not work well formating the memory card with a computer.
