Hi-

Is it connected to a computer? you can go to control panel, printers and faxes or (printer) right click on the printer icon then cancel the pending documents.

How can i delete this message

Well, this message is reset each time you apply preventive maintenance. But do not worry, after giving maintenance:
1. Turn off the copier
2. Hold down "0" and "8" while turning ON the machine to enter the service menu.
3. Already in the menu, press the keys "252" and press the green button to make "enter".
4. That's it, the machine off and back on and READY!
Good luck ...

the pending is the the spooler on the computer

This solution works
1. On the taskbar, click Start, and then click Run.
2. Enter the following:
net stop spooler (and hit enter)
3. Delete all files in the following folder:
C:\Windows\System32\Spool\Printers
4. Once the spool files are deleted, start the spooler again:

Unable to delete doc after being sent to printer

First, I would try canceling the document either at the printer (hit cancel if it has already been sent) or at the computer.

You can do this by going to start -> settings -> printers and faxes
double click on the printer to open it
right click on the offending file and hit delete

It sounds like both of these have been done already. So...next option.

Second option - Restart the print spooler
Go to Start -> Settings -> Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Services
Click on the "Print Spooler"
Select Restart

Third option - delete the document from the spooler
Stop the Print Spooler by following the instructions above and clicking "stop"
Delete all files in the c:\windows\system32\spool\printers directory
Restart the print spooler.

CAUTION!!! - This will clear out both the offending job and any other jobs that have been sent to the printer after the offending job. If you have a number of other jobs, you may wish to clear out only the offending job from the printers directory.

Hope this helps - flub

I was in the process of printing some pictures when it stopped and only printed half of a picture. I checked the stauess of the printer and it said there was an error. I tried to cancel/delete the printing...

If the job is hung in the print que, and it will not delete, turn the printer off, then shut down the system. Turn the printer back on, and re-start the computer. This should clear the data spool that you were not able to delete.

How do you Delete document and photos once saved to PC

I am using the Vista (Don't have any choice in the matter) OS. I finally realized I may not be able to find any solution to my inability to delete documents and pictures from the MP160 Navigator software so I tried clicking , 'Pictures,' located on the upper far right of the Start menu on my Vista start up screen. Then under, 'Folder,' on the far left of the 'pictures' screen I scrolled and found, 'pictures,' again cliked it and found 'MP Navigator,' under that category. I clicked MP Navigator and was given a long list of the photos and documents already on my MP Navigator software. When you click on of the image titles it will display the image or document. Then, while viewing the image or document, click the file menu, choose, 'delete,' and one by one you can delete the image or document if you want to. (James A. Baker-Opelika, Alabama)

HP PSC 1610 all in one

If the printer queue is empty, the printer has already received it from the spool. If for some reason it is still holding onto the document, and attempting to print, you should be able to hit cancel, which will delete the job, or if that doesn't work for some reason, power the printer off. Remove the power source completely (unplug it) for 1 minute or more, then plug it back in and you should be set.

Vista and 6350 all in one

Dawn, Download the Vista driver here:
http://downloads.lexmark.com/cgi-perl/downloads.cgi?ccs=229:1:0:495:0:0

Save it to your desktop.

delete the drivers and software in control panel, programs and features, if you tried to install them already.

Follow the install directions. DO not plug in your printer till the program tells you to.
Please let me know how you make out. and if you need further instructions..
thanks
