How can i connect my pc to my flatscreen

There are 2 ways I can think of:
1. Put a PCI TV / Video Card that has S-Video out in your computer. This can be connected directly to your TV if it has a S-Video (you can also buy S-Video to RCA/Video adapters if your flat screen doesn't have S-Video)
2. Buy a PC to Video Converter (also know as VGA to Video converter). This is usually a smallish box that you connect to your PC via cable, then connect to your TV via cable.

If you search the net for PCI Video / TV /Video capture cards and read the description for available functions or search for VGA to TV converters you should find what you are looking for.

You need to set your system to output to the port the TV is on.
If it is a laptop, there is an F key to change from LCD to LCD+VIDEO to VIDEO.
If it is a desktop you need to go into your display settings (control panel or rt clk desktop/properties or whatever system you have).

Connect tv to computer

Be sure to enable the second screen through the windows display settings. Right click on the desktop background and select personalize (VIsta) or Properties (XP). Click on the settings menu (lower down on Vista, a tab on the right for XP) and look at the monitor setup. After you are connected via cable to the TV, go there, click on the second screen and select "enable this monitor", "extend desktop onto this monitor" or something of the like. Oftentimes it will not do it if you are not already physically plugged in so ensure that you do that first.

Connecting a Toshiba lcd tv to a Sony Vaio VGC-LA3

you should have a (vga) tv-out socket usually blue with about 16 pins in it,if you have not which is unusual then refer to sony for the laptops specs and location of tv-out socket.
The Nvidia graphics card should have one I believe the Gforce go card is the one for your system unless upgraded and is advertised to support this function.

I have an acer 5335 aspire laptop and tried to connect it to a 127cm lg plasma via vga cable. I changed the resolution on the laptop and tried using Fn F5 key however no result.

Does ur video card support tv out?
If it does, u cannot use ur screen AND a tv at the same time. It's one or the other. Go to the display options and select the tv out option for ur vid card. Ur screen will go black and the tv will then have ur desktop.
