Question about Televison & Video

Open Question

Mutsubishi pd-5010 I was hooking up the external speakers on my 50" Mitsubishi Pd-5010, and the picture went out. When I restarted the TV, I know longer had a picture, and it sounded like the speakers were crackling. Any advice?

Hi,
a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repair professionals here in the US.
click here to Talk to a Technician (only for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

Hi, When this happens, it means that the power supply has shut down for safety reasons, to avoid, a fire, an explosion, or both. You MUST get your set attended to by a professional. You need to contact Mitsubishi, and ask for a "Quote" for repair. I have included a link to a generic "Training and service manual" just so you can see how complicated and the special equipment required to service.

SOURCE: excus e me my question

the problem is v/h collapse this is due to power spike a little like a power surge with the older tvs we used to bin them as the repair was too expensive as with the new tvs lcd/plasma the parts are less to replace and cheaper its always worth getting a quote but it is a reasonably expensive repair

Mitsubishi PD 5050 does not show HDMI

I have a client with a PD 5050 that just stopped recognizing HD signals through HDMI and component. It does seem to accept a standard composite signal. We replaced the TV. They had me haul away the old one, and I'm trying to find out if it's worth repairing.
Interesting that it was right around the date you posted this question. I bookmarked this page to return if I find out anything.
