Toro Mdl. 51325- Ser#-0013490 Electric Trimmer- Drum w/eyelet Replacement

How do you get the old Drum off to put repair part on. Just purchased a new Drum w/eyelet to replace my broken Toro Trimmer, but can not seem to get the old one off.
Maybe someone knows about this.

You simply hold the Drum steady and twist counter clockwise on the center piece with the spring and all. mnremoves pretty easy.

How do I replace the line in an 11 inch electric toro trimmer I can't turn the part that would come off to put new line in.

All I can do is refer you to the manufacturer's instructions. See page 5 after downloading your user manual. If you can not turn the cap off, then the cap is possibly cross threaded onto the shaft end and/or the threaded end if the driveshaft is stripped. See if the user instructions are of help to you.

I can't get the spool off of my Toro 12 inch trimmer model 51325. I have tried all the suggestions on the web site and it won't come off, however it came off my itself earlier when it ran out of string...

You are doing well. The Toro site states that this is a model from 1985. User manuals were much more concise back then and so I will have you view yours. Click on the link on the left that states:
Toroe Electric Trimmer/Service Manual (English). I have viewed it and spool removal instructions with pictures are there.

Purchased a new drum for trimmer how do you get the drum assembly off of the motor shaft

We took it to the place where we purchased the replacement part and they took the part off.  I didn't see him do it, but apparently, it was missing a pin to hold the shaft so the top could be screwed off.  It took him about 15 minutes, so it wasn't an simple fix.  No charge.  Nice guy.
Thanks.

Toro electric trimmer motor keeps stopping

Very possibly a bad switch or loose wire.

String breaking

Check to ensure that the string is the correct size as specified in the owners manual. If ok check age of the string. If old it has a tendancy to be brittle. If new and supple try letting the trimmer get up to full speed and let the tip of the string do the cutting. Avoid taking on too much at once with this trimmer as the electric and battery trimmers are not as powerful as their gas counterparts. I hope this helps.
