Ultra traveldrive not readable

I've been using a Memorex ultra travel drive 160GB for about a year now and it's been fine but lately when I plug the 2 USBs into my laptop or desktop, it doesn't light up at all. The computers can't detect the hard disk at all. How do I get it to work? When I plug either one of the USB in, the light goes green for 2 seconds and that's it. I can hear the drive reading but the computer can't detect it.

- I have the same problem. I plug in the Memorex Ultra travel drive and the green light comes on for a while and then turns red, but my computer doesn't recognize it. It used to, but no more.- relsnaf

Try the HD on another computer and see if it runs if it does then is is the port, Check the USB port with another USB item like a camera or something, If the port works then it is the drive. USB drives can and do burn out from time to time.
