Question about Laser MVP-1G MP3 Player

1 Answer

Mp4 Q12 4GB cannot fill

I can successfully transfer up to 707MB of songs onto the player, but then get an error message "0x80070052, directory or file cannot be created"
by trial and error I found that this is indicative of the player memory being full.
However, when I view the properties it confirms that there is 3.29GB space remaining.
Is there any program in the player which reserves space for different information, e.g movies and photos, and if not, what is wrong?

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

What is the make and/or model of this MP4 player?

My first inclination is that you need to reformat the storage area on this player. But with a make/model I can tell you for sure.

I'm using a 1gb sandisk sd memory card to sync mp3 song on it. THe mp3 songs go on it fine and play on the computer and on the mp3 player ok. The problem is I have about 533mb of space used and have about...

You may have reached the maximum number of files allowed in the root directory of the file system. If you already have a folder on the card, try moving some of the MP3 files into that folder. If you can copy 1 new MP3 file onto the card, that is your problem. Hopefully your MP3 player supports folders!

RCA Pearl 2GB

Click this link to go to the RCA support page. Under the light bulb, click "For TH1102 click here". This will download the firmware for your Pearl. Plug in your mp3 player and run the file. This will delete any songs or data currently on your mp3 player so back up your songs if you can.

Error message 0x80070052

I tried setting up a new folder and transfering the files, this did not work either so I just purchased a new Jump drive. I had plenty of space remaining on the Lexar, however, my time was worth more than the cost of a new drive. I'll keep looking for "free solutions" to my problem and if I find the answer, I'll respond.
