Question about PC Desktops
The worst that could happen is that the computer may not run the program. try installing the game, your cd (assuming that's the source of the setup files for the game) should not be affected.
after you install the program try to run it as usual by double clicking the icon to run the program if it doesn't run as expected try this.
1. right click the icon you use to run the game.
2. select properties
3. select the compatibility tab and select an appropiate mode. (ex. windows xp service pack 2)
not completely sure but you may also want to try to run the installation/setup program by changing the compatibility mode so you may be able to trick the program into believing the app/game is being installed on a windows xp service pack 2 system increasing your chances to have the installation running properly.
